The PM Benchmark Reading Assessment Resources have been designed to explicitly assess students’ instructional and independent reading levels using unseen, meaningful texts. The PM Benchmark Reading Assessment Resources provide accurately levelled fiction and non-fiction texts ranging progressively from emergent levels to reading age 12.
PM Benchmark Assessment and Profiling Software
The new PM Benchmark Assessment & Profiling Software introduces a technology component to the PM Benchmark Kits, making the recording of reading records and generation of student profile data easier, more efficient and more accurate.
The software automatically calculates data such as reading accuracy rate, error rate and self-correction rate. A variety of graph options are also included to demonstrate the progress of individual students, class groups, whole classes and the whole school.
The PM Benchmark Assessment and Profiling Software is simple to use and administer with clear, step-by-step instructions. The software can be used in networked schools or single-teacher schools, and student names can be imported from existing MS Excel school lists.
